Mr. Palmer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in work with adolescents and trauma victims. He maintains a Private Practice in Claremont, Ca and works with couples as well as individuals.
With over 37 years of experience, he is knowledgeable in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders and trauma. In addition to his office practice he has served as a consultant to the Claremont Police Department for the last 23 years. His expertise includes group facilitation for Health Care Professionals groups and groups for the State Bar’s Lawyer Assistance Program.
His work with trauma victims has been supported by extensive training in the Trauma Resiliency Model developed by the Trauma Resource Institute. He is currently a group facilitator with the Institute.
Mr. Palmer is interactive, solution-focused therapist. His goal is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain their personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
